Our First Overseas Project – 67 Rock Anchor Foundations for Siemens Turbine SGRE-DD-130 in Norway
In March 2018, we had the opportunity to become the supplier for the Kvitfjell Vind Project, also known as Nordlys Vind Park, in Norway. As the Project Manager for the delivery, I faced many challenges, but the Sinortek team successfully manufactured and supplied 67 fully welded and machined tower adapter flanges, each weighing 7,814 kg with a diameter of 4.88 meters. These were coated according to NORSOK standards. In addition, we supplied 3,618 M42 anchor bolts (Class 10.9) at 8.8 meters in length, 1,206 anchor bolts at 11.8 meters, along with nuts and washers.
Hennøy Wind Farm – 12 Rock Anchor Foundations for Vestas V136-4.2 MW – 82m HH in Norway
The Hennøy Wind Farm, located in Bremanger Municipality on Norway’s west coast, is expected to generate approximately 170 GWh of clean power annually, enough to supply between 8,700 and 10,900 homes. For this project, Sinortek manufactured and delivered 12 complete sets of rock anchor foundations, including welded and machined tower adapter rings, M52 x 11.8-meter-long rock anchor bolts, and accompanying nuts and washers. Additionally, we supplied several other steel components for the foundation construction.
Tonstad Wind Park – 51 Rock Anchor Foundations for Siemens Turbine SWT-DD-142
In July 2018, after the Nordlys Wind Park project, Sinortek successfully signed a contract to supply 51 rock anchor foundations for Siemens Turbine SWT-DD-142 at the Tonstad Wind Park in Norway. The scope of the project included 51 tower adapter rings, each with an outer diameter of 5,320mm and weighing 14,454kg, coated according to NORSOK M-501 standards. We also supplied 3,060 M52 x 8.8-meter anchor bolts and 1,020 M52 x 11.8-meter anchor bolts (Class 10.9), along with nuts, washers, formwork, and leveling supports, as well as other steel components for foundation construction.
